Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 is one of the best games to be released in 2011. The game boasts the latest Frostbite 2 engine and it does more than illustrate the scale and ability of the Battlefield 3 single and multiplayer gaming modes. There is no denying the fact that DICE is the absolute best at creating great multiplayer experiences. This is one of the reasons why you will not have to worry about the multiplayer experience with Battlefield 3. However, the Campaign mode is unique and at times feels as though you are playing a different game entirely.
The game functions like any other First Person Shooter but the secondary buttons allow you to perform different tasks. But then again, they are not as complicated as they may seem initially. If you are expecting a simple game, Battlefield 3 will prove you wrong. The campaign itself is unforgiving and brutal even while you are playing in the ‘Normal’ mode. The game is open to a certain extent as you are still required to stick a specific path or task to complete your objectives. However, the scenario, sound, and graphics along with the semi-destructible environments ensure you have a great time.
The single player mode manages to maintain the intensity of the missions with the help of vehicle missions but they are not as personal or deep as the on-foot missions even though they add some variety to the game. The plot is standard and nothing out of the ordinary but it is interesting and will keep you coming back for more. But then again, you have to keep in mind that Battlefield 3 is meant for gamers looking for the perfect multiplayer experience.
