Buy, collect and develop tanks as you battle it out in European environments in the massively multiplayer online role playing game, World of Tanks. Earn experience as you take part in battles, and then use it to improve your tank, making it the most lethal killing machine on the field. The primary game in World of Tanks is capture the flag. There are six different classes of tanks players can choose from and range from light tanks that are more manoeuvrable, to heavy tanks that may be slower, but deal a vicious blow. The tanks come from different countries that include the USA, USSR and Germany. The battles in this game are fairly short, lasting no more than 15 minutes. One difference this game has on similar games is that there is no respawning when you die. Once you are knocked out of the game, that’s it until the next round. However, you can leave the game and join another in a different tank, without losing any experience points you may have earned.
Overall, World of Tanks is a pretty solid game, just too serious. The interface is a bit intimidating as well. Additionally, when you are new to the game, you will be frustrated at how quickly the more experienced players knock you out of the game. However, with some invested time, World of Tanks can be a lot of fun and is worth a shot.
